Terms and conditions

The terms and conditions of holiday letting as agreed to by both parties are as follows: 

Please carefully read the conditions of Holiday Letting as any departure from the same permits the owner to immediately terminate the holiday letting.

This house is NOT a party house, any parties will result in immediate termination of the agreement and loss of security bond with no refund.

The premises are let to you for holiday purposes only for the period stated on the confirmation advice.

GUEST NUMBERS

Prior to arrival all guests’ full names will be required on the booking confirmation. As all Banyandah Waters Beach House guests are welcome to use all resort facilities everyone must be registered with Tangalooma Resort. Duty managers and security may check when guests are in the resort. Failure to register will result in exclusion from the resort.

The number of occupants must not exceed the number of persons indicated on your booking confirmation. Extra persons must be agreed to in advance in writing. An extra fee of $75 per person per night will be incurred.  This may  be deducted from the security bond.

Large social gatherings and overloading will render the guest/s liable to instant cancellation of the booking with no refund.

PAYMENTS
A deposit of 30% is required upon confirmation of your holiday.  Final payment and balance is required 30 days before your holiday or upon arrangement.
Payments can be made by direct deposit, bank cheque or cash by arrangement.

A security Bond of $1000 is payable 3 days before your holiday. The Security Bond will be fully refunded within 3 days of the end of your holiday. (Fair usage policy)

PLEASE NOTE ANY BREACHES OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF SECURITY DEPOSIT WITH NO REFUND.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY
Any cancellations must be in writing from the person who made the initial booking. Cancellations made 2 months or more prior to commencement date will be fully refunded less $75 Administration fee. In the event of cancellation within the 2 month period , your refund will be subject to Banyandah Waters receiving another booking for the same period, less the $75 Administration fee.

COVID-19 CANCELLATION POLICY

If guests are unable to travel to Moreton Island due to government imposed travel restrictions, Banyandah Waters Beach House will offer 100% credit of the value of the original booking valid for 15 months after initial booking.  This offer is subject to availability. If guests are unable to re-book within 15 months 50% of the booking fee, plus the relevant cleaning fee will be refunded.

LINEN
Bed linen is supplied for all rooms inclusive of bath towels, however guests may bring their own linen to save costs. $18 per person.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Check in is from 3pm on day of arrival with check out time 10am on the day of departure. Early and late checkout may be offered depending on circumstances and negotiations. Keys to the house will be made available upon arrival as per Emailed confirmation.

POOL RULES
The pool at Banyandah Waters will provide you with some great memories such as a morning swim, watching the sunset from a late afternoon swim.
However pools can be dangerous with excessive alcohol consumption and unsupervised children. Do not let a stupid decision ruin your holiday…or worse!

Please follow the Pool Rules for your own safety and enjoyment.

No person on the premises shall be guilty of conduct that is a nuisance to others in adjoining or neighbouring properties.

Strictly no glass permitted on the pool deck or in the pool area.

Strictly no running around the pool.

Any person that climbs any fence or structure will result in immediate termination of the agreement with full loss of security bond and no refund.

No diving/bomb diving into the pool.

Children under 13 MUST be supervised.

 

BANYANDAH WATERS BEACH HOUSE RULES

Strictly no pets, Moreton Island is a national park and pets are not permitted under any circumstances.

Strictly NO parties.

Strictly No smoking including deck areas.

The guest/s and their visitors WILL NOT park boats or trailers on the premises.

No excessive noise or anti-social behaviour will be tolerated. Please be respectful of other holiday makers. Tangalooma Resort Security will be notified of any anti-social behaviour. In the unfortunate event of persons being evicted a full loss of rent and security bond will occur. Queensland Police Service are on the island!

DAMAGES AND EXTRA CLEANING

Whilst we understand minor mishaps occur, any significant breakages, damage and lost items must be paid for by guest/s. In the event of any damage or breakages, guest/s are requested to advise management immediately to allow for replacement items to be obtained.
Please leave the house in a neat and tidy condition for the next guests, inclusive of rubbish removal and a clean BBQ.   Failure to do so will incur an additional cleaning fee of $75.

The guest/s will be responsible for loss of or damages to the premises AND any items in the premises including furniture, kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, and fittings. The guest/s will within 7 days of demand pay to our office the cost of any replacement or repair (at the discretion of the owner) of any such item damaged or lost. Furniture is not to be moved under any circumstances otherwise fees will be charged.

No responsibility is taken for guest/s personal property left on the premises.  Banyandah Waters Management will contact guests of any lost property and forward to the guest at the guest’s expense.

Rubbish Bins must be left on the paved area in front of the house. Rubbish collected on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Any excessive rubbish will incur a $75 fee from the Tangalooma Resort Management. This fee will be deducted from the security bond.

Keys are required to be left in the property at a place nominated by the owner. If keys are lost, the cost of re-cutting will be deducted from the security deposit.

All cash bonds (including debit cards) will be refunded within reasonable time after cleaning has been completed on the said premises.

Due to newly introduced Safety Laws, you are advised that whilst you are staying in our holiday home every care should be taken to ensure any vertical blinds or curtain cords are not handled in an unsafe manner. We accept no responsibility, for any misuse of this equipment.

By accepting this booking and our terms and conditions you hereby agree that if you or any occupant covered by this booking, including any guests, breach our Terms and Conditions then your name, phone number and email address along with details of the breach/breaches may be disclosed to the property landlord and/or other agents participating in the Bad Books register. Banyandah Waters Beach House, reserves the right to change a booking where a guest is registered in Bad Books or any other forum.

• Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or bent elbow when coughing or sneezing, dispose of tissues immediately after use and wash your hands or apply hand sanitiser.

• Avoid touching your face, nose and mouth and shaking hands.
